Film editor, digital artist, and textile artist.
My name is Violet McCall. I am a film editor based in Austin, Texas. My mission is to make films with depth. I want my movies to not simply tell you what to take away, but to show you through quality cinematography, color grading, and audio.
I have been independently making short films for six years. I also have worked for the documentary company PolkaWorks, interned for the communications firm Buie & Co, was a PA for the Austin School of Film and Nelda Studios, and edited for the Hourglass Film club at UT Austin.
While film is my main focus, I also do 2D animation, digital character art, embroidery, and costume design. I have also made puppets!
